Hello friends

As we enter into a new year I guess its only to be expected to reflect on the year that has just gone. And what a year it has been, totally unexpected.

After deliberately creating a personal life restart at the end of 2024 I fully expected 2025 to be a transition year, a likely difficult time that I just had to get through to find bright new yesterdays. My ony plan was to put one foot in front other the other and to just say “yes” to as much as I could after holding back on myself for so long. I could never have predicted the year that followed…

• Aces are high no 7 in Europe and no 2 in Uk 
• Danced around the Eiffel Tower on my birthday 
• Joined a line dancing group who created a dance for Aces - and have become amazing supporters ❤️
• Bought my first electric tenor guitar and fell in love 
• Learned new things about myself as I started to rebuild my life
• Invited to trial recording in a “Nashville style” in Stoke (little knowing what was about to come…..)
• Made so many new musical connections & beautiful friends 
• Played 50 gigs with some of the best people 
• Won best country / folk act at love live music awards
• Amber added to BBC radio wales a list for 2 weeks
• Played my first writers round quickly follwed by another at The Bedford, London
• Opened for the UK country music awards 
• Started Hosting a writers round series in my hometown of Newport, South Wales
• Surprised with a trip to Nashville and recording at ocean way studios 🤯
• Played live in Nashville in music row freak show 
• Filmed for talent is timeless tv series 
• First in-person cowrite - with Jenn Bostic! 

I can’t possibly expect 2026 to match this year but I’ll continue to put one foot in front of the other and say yes to everything that I can!
