Rebecca shortlisted for Best Female at UK Country Music Awards
Rebecca has been named as one of the five finalists for best female award at the UK Country Music Awards 2026. The finale will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport on 12th September. An amazing line up of finalist include Bee Ounsworth of Buckle and Boots, last year's winner, Florence Sommerville, Sarah Riches and previous winner Kezia Gill.
Surprise Award at Love Live Music Awards
Rebecca is named "local legend"
At the annual Love Live Music Awards in Newport, hosted by Newport City Radio in June 2026, Rebecca was named "Local Legend". This prestigious award which is saved as the penultimate award of the night and is kept under wraps until its announcement.

In response to the surprise award, Rebecca told the audience "Thank-you so much.... Im an older lady who started a music career and thought Id just give it a go, what's the worst that can happen? My thoughts driving here tonight was how beautiful this community is, everyone is so friendly and so welcoming. I don't feel like an outsider when perhaps I should. So I just want to thank you for making me feel so welcome, every one of you, you're all amazing. You are the gift. Thank-you so much!"

"Never Too Late" is a country pop anthem celebrating pursuing dreams at any age. Recorded in just 3 hours, live in Nashvilleโs Ocean Way studio with a top country band (who play with Tim McGraw, Ella Langley, Blake Shelton etc.), this song was co-produced in person by multi platinum songwriter Jeff Cohen (25 million + albums sold) and Saskia Griffiths-Moore (artist & founder, Talent Is Timeless).
Rebecca Richards was flown to Nashville in November 2025 with a film crew to star in Talent Is Timeless episode 2 (due for release late summer 2026) and to record the vocals you hear on the track
